To me one of the biggest strengths of Orion is all the places that info is gathered. You can look at several data sources like syslog, netflow, snmp stats, response time etc and get yourself a good idea of what is going on now with a node or at some point in the past when an event occurred.
You guys have made this awesome wireless module with a great interface but there are few alerts or any meaningful stats kept especially when it comes to the things you really want to know with wireless which is more security sensitive than any other part of the network.
We have about 30 controllers, 500+ APs and thousands of clients. And with all that we do not even glance at the wireless module.
My point being that there is a HUGE opportunity to nudge the module further and make it far more useful. This is especially important to us as Aruba does not have a good way to historically keep events and stats on their gear.
On top of wanting more straight forward historical stats and events there is a huge need for more detail with wireless than anything else. If the core is the shimmering oasis of the network then wireless is the dark damp swap of the network. And I want to know who is trying to sneak into my swap because they think no one is looking.
