Any ideas on how to use an alert to monitor a node state change from Unamanged to Up so that we can use the change custom property feature to put data into the Comments custom property?
Just taking a quick shot at this... You could create an alert that is based on a trigger of a node becoming un-managed
that does nothing in the Trigger action but instead changes a custom property in the Reset Action
(Reset condition would simply be when trigger is no longer true)
Others may have a better suggestion but this was what came to me off the top off my head.
Good idea, I was not thinking about the 'all inclusive' alert but this works.
