Cannot send Myself an Email Alert

Hello All,

I have just commenced my journey with Solarwinds and I am trying to send myself an email alert but can't seem to get it to work. I am in the "Trigger Actions" of creating my new alert but when it comes to sending myself an email the test fails. I am trying to send to my gmail account but don't know what to fill in the "SMTP Server" section. For hostname I put "www.gmail.com" and checked the SMTP server box and unchecked the SSL box. I actually tried all types of ways by checking both boxes, changing the port to 443, unchecking both boxes, etc. I just can't seem to get over this hill to send myself an alert email. Please advise and thank you in advance.

Connect to smtp.gmail.com on port 465, if you're using SSL. (Connect on port 587 if you're using TLS.) Sign in with a Google username and password for authentication to connect with SSL or TLS.
