NetFlow Traffic Analyzer

I am tasked with co-locating my datacenter in the near future so I must now find out how much bandwidth is needed to access our data from our current location to the new co-lo destination. I have purchased the NetFlow Traffic Analyzer and was wondering how to leverage this tool with my task. Any suggestions?

Export netflow from the WAN routers edge interface or tunnel interface to Orion NTA and let it collect for while. Then you'll be able to not only see how much traffic but also what type of traffic you have flowing. Lot of devices can export if it's Cisco it'll be really easy.

I already purchased and use Orion NTA so is there a need to export? I am very new to these products and apologize for my novice questions...but I do not know how to see how much traffic I have flowing to calculate the bandwidth needed to and from the co-lo...

Start here for sure: NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) - Updated March 18, 2016

You need to configure the WAN routers to export to the Solarwinds Orion server. Another thing to watch out for is ACL's and any firewalls you have to go through. If the path between the WAN routers and your new Orion NTA is pretty open it'll be even easier. While I am using a different system in this video these are the reports I look at when focusing on data centers. Within NTA you probably just need to filter on the subnet(s) associated with the co-lo location
