TFTP file access violation

Downloaded the TFTP server ver 5.3.23 today. tried to use it but get a "invalid access to my root directory". Switched to another tftp server,tftp32 which works fine.
I am using the TFTP server w/ WinXP Pro. I have used solarwinds before on win2K with no problem. Any ideas
