I'm new to NCM.We just added a bunch of Cisco 2801s to NCM. I downloaded the configs but when I look at them, they are missing a bunch of lines. Has anyone seen this?
Are the missing lines always occurring after a certain line in the config? If so, it's possible that the device config has a piece of text such as description or a line somewhere in it that contains something like:
DeviceHostname#
Which NCM tends to confuse as being the device prompt when gathering the config via telnet or SSH. If this is the case, you can either change the config to remove the # symbol from the config, or change in NCM the transfer protocol to TFTP, thus bypassing this issue.
