Get alerts to particular email for particular time span.?
This is a good question for our Alert Lab forum. I've moved this question there so you can, hopefully, receive some more eyes on it.
I would look at a combination of custom properties and multiple email actions.
For instance:
Create a Node custom property called "AlertOnCall" and assign the on-call email address to each device as needed.
From there, your Node alerts would have 2 email actions.
1) Set this email to send to your default distribution list or whatever, during business hours (using the time limitation option for the email, not the alert itself)
2) Set this email to send to ${Nodes.AlertOnCall} during your on-call hours (again using the time limitation option from the email action, not the overall alert)
You can have up to 10 email addresses in your custom property (separated by commas)
