Storing unreachable hosts
mstensta
I'd like to store host information in Solarwinds so I can add information about these hosts using custom properties, but not monitor it at all (no ICMP or SNMP). Does any one know how I might be able to accomplish this? I've tried to add the host and then unmanage it, but it shows up in the Top 10 as "No Response", which is not what I want.
Thanks!

You could add them and unmanage them.

I've tried this but they still show up in the "Top 10" as "No Response". Any suggestions?

The problem is that they're getting polled before you have time to unmanage them. You could possibly run a query and update their status in the database.
