How to setup specific interface alerting

We need to setup alerting for interfaces, very specific, but i cannot find what im looking for in the forum.  Can someone help?

Alerts needed:

alert if interface goes down/up/flaps

need it to email multiple different emails with different content in each email.

example:

1 email would have the node name of the interface gone down, the interface that is down, the circuit ID of the smartjack(mpls or pri).

Sorry to go silent - I was out of town for a couple of days.

Here is what I would do. Create an alert specific to one of the WAN interfaces using interface status equal to down and a qualifer such as interface name or interface ID (loke Interface Name equal to Inet S0/1).

Then for the alert trigger I add two email actions. one for the SP and one for the IT group. For the email contact place a message with the circuit ID. Create this alert specific for one particular interface and the SP for that interface and save it. Once it is tested and you know it works correctly, copy the alert and edit it for each interface you need to alert on. Also edit the alert actions to alert the correct parties. Once this is done you don't have to touch it unles you move an interface or change sp.
