Create multiple groups

I'm still new at Orion, and I just know that things can be done otherwise than manually.

This time I'm creating a whole slew of groups. I'm working with Orion 12.

1 - I click on Settings Settings\All Settings\Manage Groups

2 - I Click on Add New Group

3 - I add a name and I click Next

4 - I click on Add Dynamic Query

5 - I add a name (same as the group name)

6 - I set Orion Object Name to Node

7 - I Add three new conditions

8 - I save the  Dynamic Query

9 - I click Create and I'm done creating a new group

I'm sure this can be done using SWSQL I just don't know where to start.

I look at it, and it seems that the dynamic query is used to create the group.

Has anybody got some insight on this?

The github for the SDK has several exampled to help teach you how to interact with it, this is the section on manipulating groups

Take a look at that and I'm sure you can figure out how to script the effect you want.  I've used scripts to create many groups in one go.  The big thing I'v e found is that once you get into the hundreds of groups it can really impact the performance of the web UI.  It depends on your server and how complex the groups are for where the threshold seems to be but I've seen that making it so the groups don't update every 60 seconds can help.
