Alert Triggers and Resets - One Rule Multiple Devices

Setting scenario first

Three sites A, B and C

One Alert - Check 1 minute, Trigger, Device Status = Down, Priority(Custom Property)=2, condition =  2 minutes

Reset,  Device status = up, condition = 5 minutes

Now if site A device goes down it SHOULD trigger this alert, right? Or would this alert fail to trigger due to sites B and C having devices with priority =2 in them still up?

Scenario 2, Sites A and B have devices down that should trigger this alert. Site B comes back up and resets its alert, would site A also reset because site B's pri 2 device matched the reset action?

Based on your description of the trigger condition, this alert should trigger if site A goes down. As far as the alerts are concerned, there is no correlation between sites A, B or C with regard to the (custom property) priority. The trigger condition is tested against three nodes.

As before, there is no correlation between site A and B so this alert should trigger twice, once for Site A and once for Site B. Once Site B comes back up, its corresponding alert would reset while the alert for Site A would still be active.
