Cisco IPS/IDS 4200 series devices supported?

Question

I've got several 4200 series devices that I'd like to have the configs automatically backed up via Cirrus.  The device support SNMP, but Cirrus does not have an automatic config template and there isn't one in the drop down.

Does anyone manage 4200 series devices via Cirrus?  If so, how?

That error message usually means one of two things:

1) An invalid command was sent to the device (bad command in device template)

2) The device is not in the right mode to receive the command  (you are not in the right context - e.g. enable mode - for the download commands to be valid)

Revising an old topic...

Cirrus 4.0 - December 2007 still cannot properly download configuration files from Cisco ASA-SSM-10 IPS modules.  Attempts to do so results in an error that states, "Connectivity issues discarding config file."  Error details state:

Is there an IPS device template anywhere?

Have you tried the Cisco ASA template in the content sharing zone?
