Per Case #165683, this is not possible even when using a custom device command template for the specific device because NCM is incapable of making the SNMP re-write of the address.

We write certain values into the MIBs of the remote device, to set up the transfer. My assumption is, we’re writing the internal IP address of the NCM server into the MIBs of the remote device, causing the remote device to try to transfer to the internal IP address. This wouldn’t be affected by the device command template.
Unfortunately there is no such an option to get it working at this time.
