Why dont my thwack points line up?

I have noticed lately that my thwack points have been drifting apart.

And i dont mean they are seeking alternative living arrangements and engaging divorce lawyers to sort out who gets the socks, and who gets the badges and how they can split the Laptop Stickers.

I mean in the sense of what it shows on my account, and what the leader board shows are two very different numbers.

Is anyone else experiencing this or know why it may be happening?

I've noticed that the leaderboard takes a lot longer to update than the bar at the top of the Thwack page. Have you compared after it has set overnight? Also, I wonder if it has something to do with total points earned vs. points available for spending - if that were the case I would expect that the leaderboard would be the earned and the Thwack page would be spendable and that doesn't appear to be the case.
