Id like to implement a policy whereby if traffic to a certain destination exceeds more than x mb/s then a mail is sent.
probably exceedinly easy, but this product is new to me. is this possible? if so how?

This is something a few of us have asked for but there is currently no alerting for netflow. I would think we will see it in future releases.
Donald is correct. Alerting is something we plan on working on next (see what we're working on now here).
For others watching this thread, any other specific use-cases for NetFlow alerts?
