When I go to NCM module Node List and click on +Cisco, the nodes display with serial
numbers rather than their proper host names. How can this be corrected? Thank-you.
Were the nodes showing up properly before? If so, was anything changed / installed / upgraded since you last viewed the node list?
No - these have been goofed up since discovery.
When you view the nodes in the NCM desktop client, do they show up in the same way? If so, it may be that that a macro has been configured for the node name incorrectly.
I wiped out the lot in NCM and re-discovered. I must have selected one of the row headings inadvertently during the first discovery. Best guess.
