3rd Party App using MSI Install

I have some systems that the MSI installs fine and most I get this error.

This is from the Windows Update Log on the systems Same error all the time.

Hi Mike,

Can you give us a little more info on what this .msi contains? Is this an update you rolled on your own - or something you got from our catalog? I've seen that error code before when deploying Office.

It is for Cisco NAC Agent, we are tryin got push it out to all systems.

I'm not familiar with that piece of software, but I think that the error you are seeing is related to the command line you are using for install or the arguments in a transform file, if you've made one.

I would suggest going to one of the machines that is failing and trying to deploy the package manually from a shell. You should use the exact command line you're using in the package wizard.

If you can silently install that package from the shell, and the command-line arguments are exactly the same in the EW Package Wizard, then something else is going on.

When I run it from a command line, I use msiexec /i <package.msi> /quiet /norestart

From what I am seeing in the options, I leave the "/quiet /norestart" out
