Configs in DB

Currently I download our configs on a daily basis, iv'e just changed the criteria to only download if current is different to the previous but I've noticed that I've got configs in the DB going back over two months I currently save a copy of  the config to an archive folder whenever a config is downloaded. I've tried export all configs to the config-archive directory but it allways shows exported 0, is this because the config already exists for the particular date?

Is there anyway of restricting the number of configs the database holds to say a months worth and how do I remove the ones that currently exist in the DB?

Jon,

You can remove old configs from the DB by selecting Configs > Purge old Configs.  This setting allows you to choose whether to purge configs older than a certain date or to only keep a certain number of configs. 

Additionally, if you want to keep all the configs but not see them in the node list, you can click on File > Settings > Node List and adjust the scrollbar to only display the specific number of configs you choose.

In regards to the config archive export, yes, the feature will show that 0 configs are exported if they all already exist in the archive folder.
