Differing MIB databases across Solarwinds products?

Currently running:

Engineers Edition 10 (10.2.0.33)

Orion NCM 9.5 SP2

Just playing a bit with Universal Device Pollers in NCM, and jumped over to my Engineer's Edition to "walk" the tree.

It appears that the two products do not have a consistant MIB database, at least for the one item that I wanted to poke through (didn't check others...):

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.449 (CISCO-EIGRP-MIB:ciscoEigrpMIB)

It does appears in the mib database on NCM, but not on Engineers Edition.

Is there an effort at Solarwinds to keeep the products in sync at this level?

I found what I was looking for.

I downloaded the latest mibs.zip file from the customer portal, and after extracting it and placing it in the correct directory I have the MIB I was looking for.

After unzipping it the mibs.cfg is just over 489Mb.

Looks like the one that I have loaded for NPM & NCM is old as well, I was under the impression that the file got refreshed as new releases of the software gets installed.

Once again, you know what happens with assumptions.

We are running NCM 5.5 as well...

Reheindel - we are working on a strategy to get these databases consolidated in one location. I am glad you were able to get latest MIB via the DL.

A few hints:

The Toolset stores the MIB Db in: CommonAppData\SolarWinds (usually C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SolarWinds

Orion NPM stores the MIB Db in %Program Files%\Solarwinds\Common

Thanks Greg, I have updated the mib.cfg on each of the products so looks like I am back in business.
