Has the ability to copy and paste images gone?

Not sure if its a bug? But I can't copy and paste images into thwack discussions anymore?

This might have been covered on another post, appologies for duplicating if it has.

You are not alone, I'm praying to the Thwack gods that this is not the permanent plan and maybe they just haven't sorted out the user upload stuff yet... :smileyfrustrated:

I feel like Sampson after a haircut, with out being able to copy and paste images

I, too, am unable to paste in images. Nor can I save images and upload them as Photos.

When I attempt to do so I receive the message: "Uploading Capture.PNG resulted in the following error: You have reached your uploade limit of 1,000 images."

Maybe I have uploaded that many, and more, over the last 16 years. I'd like to think it would reset the counter for that now that we're all using a new Thwack host.

Thanks for letting me know about that weird error @rschroeder I'll look into that one.

Maybe someone who hasn't pasted 1000 images before can try and copy/paste an image and let me know if it's working? Seems to be working for me, but we all know our permissions are a little different

(tag me in the comment when replying - I'm pretty much buried in emails today and I want to make sure I see it)

I can't paste using right click -> paste or CTRL + V using the Windows 10 browser.

Okay glad I'm definatly not alone. I tried Chrome and Edge. The whole insert image through source and then sizing it is awfully long, when you just want to add a quick screen cap or something to help with a post on here.

Side note: this post showed up for me under Thwack > Report Lab > Discussions. Is that where you intended to post it?

I've seen many other discussions listed in completely unrelated areas, and am curious if tagging is off, or if content got shuffled during the move.

@sturdyerde I did this one by mistake. I wanted general discussion. I was reading a trending post and it was listed as discussion. I clicked on that link and then posted. It was after that I spotted its in completely the wrong place.
