Alert Grouping

Question

Hi Guys,

Anyone know how to group the alerts into several groups ? .

I would like to group the alerts into at least 2 groups. Please help.

Just dovetailing on what cdh asked - once you get them grouped what do you hope to accomplish? Do you need to send email to different people depending what group the alert is in? If so, there are some dynamic ways to do that don't involved creating multiple node down alerts.

Hi Gili B -

Can you clarify what type of grouping you are trying to accomplish?  Do you mean by priority, by network grouping (WAN vs LAN) or something similar?
