We have been using Orion for a while. Recently we have begun to ramp up our APM module. We have a high availability Exchange 2010 environment. We are monitoring the services on all servers successfully. One thing we are blind on at the moment is the ability to know when we have had a failover and the mailboxes have mounted onto the secondary server.
If Orion APM is capable of letting us know when such a failover occurs this would be very helpful. I have discovered an old vbscript on the content exchange.
This is very old, however, and Exchange 2010 doesn't even use storage groups anymore so this script appears to be obsolete with Exchange 2010.
Is anyone successfully monitoring this type of event in Exchange 2010, and if so could you advise how you are achieving this? I would be most grateful. Thanks.
