Hello Thwackers! Just finished my first Thwackcamp, and am interested in getting a little involved with the entire experience, so I will start with this.
I work for a smaller MSP in a rural area, although business is great, and we are growing quicly, we are still pretty small.
My question is we currently have a maintenance coming up on Engineers Toolset. We use a few of the features but we are no where near it full capability. I am guessing NPM came with the bundle as we have not paid for a specific license for that software, however we do have it on our desktops, along with this, we also use NTM specifically during network discovery on new clients.
All of our installations are Engineers Toolset for Desktop version, as we do not have any servers, nor and Orion console etc. So in whatever spare time I have, I would like to take on building this system out to its more full potential. Maybe if I can begin to start with what we have, then I can move towards expanding our installation or services...... but, I am really not sure where I would go from here,
I know we are using a monitoring system (from a competitor to Solarwinds) but it is not really designed for our environment, and has been configured more towards a ISP service. We are also already invested into a RMM, but I suppose I can suggest a change if it turns out SW is as good, or better than what we have.
