How to Supress Alerts for Exchange DAG member Database's without min # of replica's.

We have Exchange Journal Database's which we do not have replica's for and getting constant alerts for as they do not have the min # of replica's.

Is there a way to surpress these alerts for just the databases we want to surpress and still allow for the others?

We've run in to the same issue. My manager talked to Solarwinds about it when we were using a trial SAM. The way the AppInsight Exchange template works, you can't exclude databases from what I can tell. We're actually looking in to either moving the journal databases off our DAGs or creating replicas for them. The alerts have actually worked out, making us look deeper into our journal databases.

Thats a bummer if true that there is no way to filter them out.

Oh it looks like this may be addressed in the upcoming release of SAM 6.2.1 as indicated in the RC notes.

New Additions:

"In AppInsight for Exchange, the ability to disable the checking of database copies has been implemented."

Server & Application Monitor 6.2.1 RC Now Available

I hope that means it can be turned off per database/DAG member.

We shall see.
