Windows authentication

Is it possible to use windows authentication with SFTP/SCP? I'm new to this tool but what I am seeing and assuming is that the users that are created appear to be local to the SFTP/SCP server and not tied back to the Windows system. It would be nice if it would allow you to leverage the windows authentication.

Do you mean log into Solarwinds using windows auth and then be able to leverage SAM templates using the same windows log on?

I do mean to log into Solarwinds using Windows Auth. My end result is to be able to assign a certificate to the user account. I have a unix script that is requiring that the user they authenticate to the SFTP server with have a user certificate. As I can see that is not possible directly within Solarwinds.
