Team Page - Group Tree View

We just added SAM, which is handled by a separate team within org.

I've created a new page (view) and now adding items just for our team.

In column one (1) - I want to add the "Groups", but only want to see the "Servers" Group and any Sub-Groups that I've created.

I want the tree version so that I can expand/collapse the groups - we don't want to see the other groups the other team has created.

When I add a "Custom Object Resource" - I can select Groups and pick the group "Server" - however it will not let me choose tree view only "members" and gives me the entire list.

Is it possible to do this, maybe using a different resource?

What we do is use custom properties, then use the All Nodes Resource. SO we have an Environment properties for Test, Dev, Prod, etc.. So each level can use custom properties. Then if you only want to see only certain types, like Windows you can use the Filter Nodes at the bottom to make a custom query like " MachineType Like '*Windows*' "

I will be first creating a separate account and provide the ID access to the groups and then create a view for them.

as in a local SolarWinds Account - we use AD SSO / forms authentication - we still want all team admins to be able manage SW and all other IT staff to read everything - I just want to make it a little easier on our team that just deals with servers and apps?

entadmin - I create filtered dashboard views for my different teams by

Creating a "Team X Servers" group for each team. I populate the group with a dynamic query that uses a custom property of the Team's name that I set on each server (node), but it can be populated manually as well.
Creating a view for the team and setting the "View Limitation" on that view to "Group of groups", then selecting the group that contains the team's servers.

You should be able to use the View Limitation option in similar fashion to get just the servers you want to display on your page. Works quickly and cleanly for me. Filters Elements such as Alerts views and group views you put on the page to just the servers contained in your group.
