I have nodes that are IPs and need to change to resource name... will this have an affect on anything? Reporting? Alerts?
Yes, it may affect, if you have used the IP Address in Reports/Alert rules. It only affects, if you are checking this device in the reports/alerts. Otherwise it won't affect.
