Is it possible to receive an alert when a WAP connected to a Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controller drops? These WAPS are not monitored in Orion as individual nodes via ICMP.-thank you-
There is already a precanned alert in the Advanced Alert Manager for this scenario - "Alert me when a Thin Wireless Access Point goes down"
You will see from the Trigger Condition how this works. You can use this as a template to create a more specific filter condition if you require.
