Moving monitors between devices? (copy/paste)

Is it possible to "clone & move" (i.e. copy/paste) a monitor between devices?   For example, I have 20 devices configured in ipMonitor and I just thought of 5 new custom SNMP monitors I'd like to add to them.  I was hoping to be able to clone, move, & mass edit (to remove [cloned] text and change ip addresses), since this seems easier than recreating them all on every device.

I can clone the monitor, but the move button is grayed out.

Hi,

As per Christine's post ( ) this is item #4. At the moment one thing you can do is do a mass import of monitors using the export/import xml feature in the Systems Settings area of ipMonitor. 

Keep in mind you will need to create devices first and then set the parentid of each monitor in the xml before importing so they are associated with the correct device.

This tutorial article is for an older version of ipMonitor but it’s mostly the same now other than the UI changes ( the export is on the menu bar and not in a drop down ) and requiring a parentid in each monitors config to indicate the parent device.
