Unmanaged nodes

Question

When you make nodes unmanaged, are they not being polling anymore at all Period?? I need to know because I am thinking it is being flooded and can't handle all the SNMP because it's a campus.   Going through a 3560 to 10+ other switches at the same time.

Thank. I am probably too aware on this procedure.... I have never had to "repair" a program and do all sorts of crap with any other management program in my life.

One of our vlan's consistently keeps getting knocked out for just a couple seconds.  It is happening when polls every 30 minutes happens coincidently.  We don't know what is flooding it,we don't see anything on the packet capture or anything. It just looses connectivity.  We do not have traps/syslog setup. I mean the switch runs regular SNMP to other management systems.  THis does have about 10 switches behind it.
