How do you use API to unmanage node by node/host name through powershell?

I know how to unmanage nodes through Pthowershell by using the Node ID, but I want to use the Powershell API to unmanage a node by node name. Does anyone know how I can do this with using the SW API (SWIS)? I want to do this with one Powershell script.

Use Get-SwisData to query for the NodeID and then use that to do the unmanage. Something like this:

$targetID = Get-SwisData $swis 'SELECT NodeID FROM Orion.Nodes WHERE Caption = @caption'; @{ caption = 'name_of_node' }Invoke-SwisVerb $swis 'Orion.Nodes' 'Unmanage' @( "N:$($targetID)", $startDate, $endDate, $false ) | Out-Null
