Need help writing an APM Application Downtime report

Hoping someone out in Thwack-land can help. I need to develop a report which will show the down minutes for an APM down to the Application name. For instance we are using the MAPI Round Trip Template and I need to calculate the number of minutes in the month the APM was down. Time period - current month.

I know there is an availability report but I need it in minutes down.

Possible? Solarwinds?

Hello sotherls,
you can try to use custom SQL report. Following script gives you "approximate" number of minutes in month when application was down. Word "approximate" here means that it uses AVG function and calculates with percentage for one day so result is not very precise.

APM stores statistics in percentage availability so there is no exact number of minutes stored anywhere.

Jiri, thanks - this was right on and looks close to what I need. I will continue to play with it and see. I need to see if I can only report on certain Application Templates, for example the ones that fall under the MAPI Round Trip RT.....
