160Mbps peaks for output trafic on a Fast Ethernet

Hi,

SNMP Real-Time graph gave sometime abnormal high values when polling RFC1213-MIB:ifInOctets or RFC1213-MIB:ifOutOctets on many Cisco switchs (6500).

For example I can saw 160Mbps peaks for output trafic on a Fast Ethernet link.

Is there an explanation ?
