New to SCM - can it live on the same server as SAM, NPM, NCM, NTA?

Yes, it can. It can be installed on the same machine where there already is e.g. SAM/NPM/NCM/etc. and it can use the same database. It is actually preferred solution.

You can see it with other products running on the demo server.
