Network Monitor Fails to update DHCP devices after IP change (not Network Performance Monitor)

I use Network Monitor to for system up and down notification. When DHCP devices change their IP address, network monitor does not pick this up. Is there a way for network monitor to read this change and update?

add them by hostname instead of IP address- check the box
