IPAM licensing error, can't get it to clear up.

I get the following error.

"Your IP address Manager License is currently unavailbe

The IP Address Manager license has either expired or is unavailable for technical reasons."

License Status monitor says:

License Type: Unkown

(the license could not be loaded)

License Usage: 1280

I have restarted the IPAM several times.

It is registered to the proper server on June 3rd, 2009.

if your evaluation has expired, it is obvious to see message that it is expired. you can contact SolarWinds support about evaluation prolonging.

Go into license manage if you can and deactivate all your licenses.

Open database manager from the start menu and add default server.

Right click on your solarwinds database and select new query.

input the script below.

Reactivate your licenses.

If you cannot connect to the license manager, then run the script and log a call with solarwinds cs to deactivate your licenses, the reactivate them.

DECLARE @oldHostname nvarchar(max)

SET @oldHostname = 'Server1'

DECLARE @newHostname nvarchar(max)

SET @newHostname = 'Server2'

UPDATE Engines SET ServerName = @newHostname WHERE ServerName = @oldHostname

UPDATE WebSettings SET SettingValue = @newHostname WHERE SettingName = 'JobSchedulerHost'

UPDATE Websites SET ServerName = @newHostname WHERE ServerName = @oldHostname

UPDATE OrionServers SET HostName = @newHostname WHERE HostName = @oldHostname
