We didn't officially test on Chrome for 10.5. We don't officially support it here at SW but things are definitely moving that direction (lots of us here use it as our default browser). I have it on the road map for ipMonitor.

No current plans, but it is something we are looking at for our roadmap.
Drat - I guess that means me complaining about freezing my Chrome browser when right clicking on a node HTTP shortcut and selecting "Open In New Tab" won't get much attention! Not sure if it's a Chrome thing, or a Solarwinds thing, but it's keeping me tied to Firefox for the time being.
This is something I'd love to see and the original request was made in 2008. Has SolarWinds made any progress on this? Can we get an official update on when/if there are any plans to support Chrome?
Thanks,
Amanda
Yup - I just spent 30 minutes tracking down this exact issue, only to find it had been reported, and replied to in 2008! It seems IP Monitor development and bug fixing is measured in glacial epochs.
Chrome currently has around 10% market share (marketshare.hitslink.com/browser-market-share.aspx
I'm curious if Orion is compatible with Chrome? ipMonitor seems to be the 'red headed step child' for Solarwinds. Is the upcoming release of 10.5 going to support Chrome?
I used to use Chrome exclusively in Orion, and the only issue I ran into was when updating/modifying Nodes. I found when issuing a "List Resources" a device would return a list of interfaces, however for some reason Chrome wouldn't register any changes, and would revert back to the same interface list. Not sure if this has been resolved in recent revs. Otherwise, I found no other major issues other than some odd formatting here and there... and that was on the 9.x releases.
I believe I saw that Chrome is now supported in other SW products. Where does it fall in the 2012 roadmap for ipMonitor?
We the latest release we fixed some Chrome issues, so it should work decently well while not formally supported yet. We are looking at adding formal support in the next rev.
Just updated... That's much better! Thanks for the quick reply!
