Now I cant refer back to the conversations I initiated which all contained valuable information I often referred to? This happen to anybody else? How could I go about retrieving them? Thanks!

I have seen this sort of thing happen from time to time recently. I have noticed that sometimes the "unread only" box spontaneously checked caused that effect.
Usually happens during a refresh (F5).
