Can anyone think of any reason why I would be able to log in via RDP with the Solarwinds credentials, but wouldn't be able to poll it from the application itself using the same credentials?
Any user can be granted explicit permissions to remote desktop to the server but permissions used to poll the node via WMI or RPC are exclusive only to the local or domain administrator by default, unless otherwise expressly defined.
