"Siebel Application Monitoring Help"
Looking for details on Monitoring Oracle's Siebel application and what I can monitor.

I'm having the same issue. I contacted support about this and they suggest using scripts.

Unfortunately there is not an application template for Oracle Siebel. The closest available is the Oracle Database template which is listed under Application Monitor Templates. You will need to install Oracle drivers on your Orion Server for APM to be able to communicate with Oracle : http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/oracle11g/111060_win32soft.html You can then add your own components to this template to monitor other parts of the Oracle Siebel application. From doing some research, I believe that the Oracle Siebel replication creates a log file where any errors during the replication are logged. It should be possible to create a VB script to monitor this file for errors and alert you if any are found. On your Orion server, please browse to : C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\APM\SampleScriptMonitors\WindowsScripts Here you will find some sample VB scripts which can be used with APM. Also, please see page 31 of the APM adminstrators guide for information on using Windows scripts with APM.
