Offline downloader wanting files from solarwinds?

I am running a VM with no access to the internet. I downloaded a copy of NPM with an offline installer.

I chucked said installed onto my VM and then double-clicked. After a few seconds, it then came up with 'downloading updated files' If it's an offline downloader, why is it waiting for files from I guess the internet?

How large is the install file? And, if .NET 3.5/4.5 aren't installed on the server it'll try and reach out to Microsoft to grab them, which could have been the case.

The file I downloaded was 1.7gb.

It's fine - I fixed it myself. I just added a network to my VM and downloaded it.
