Upgrade to VNQM 4.2.2

I am currently in the process of planning the upgrade of my SolarWinds products to the most current version and I have been using the Product Upgrade Advisor. When I get to the upgrade of VNQM from 4.1 to 4.2.2, it shows multiple downloads...

- SolarWinds-VNQM-v4.2.2-Full.zip

- SolarWinds-VNQM-v4.2.2-FullWithSql.zip

- OrionPlatform-v2015.1.2-HotFix5.zip

- VNQM-v4.2.2-HotFix1.zip

There is no documentation on what is needed or what process to use. Do I need both SolarWinds-VNQM-v4.2.2-Full... upgrades? And do I apply the 2 HotFixes before or after the upgrades?

To install hot fix after instalation.

I'm pretty sure you'll need to upgrade NPM in order to upgrade VNQM to 4.2.2. If you have a dedicated SQL server for your installation, you'll need this file:

- SolarWinds-VNQM-v4.2.2-Full.zip

After you upgrade install the Orion Platform hotfix and the VNQM hotfix. That should do it!

Thanks. I am already planning multiple upgrades to many of the SolarWinds components during the same period, so upgrading NPM is already in the schedule. All of the other upgrades are pretty straight forward with a single upgrade file, but this one has multiple files; and the 2 files SolarWinds-VNQM-v4.2.2-Full.zip and SolarWinds-VNWM-v4.2.2-FullWithSql.zip had me confused.

They are the same packages, the only difference is the Full with SQL is the Evaluation download. This download has MS SQL built into the package for easier deployment. If you choose Full with SQL, after the EULA, you will need to Select Advanced or it will install SQL express on the Solarwinds Server.
