Changing base URL for SolarWinds

Hello community,

Is there any way to change /Orion/ in the URL?

For example, change

http://myserver.com:80/Orion/View.aspx?NetObject=AM:2.

to

http://myserver.com:80/NMS/View.aspx?NetObject=AM:2.

I know how to change myserver.com (using Database Manager), but this is not what I am after.

You could always use an A record or a C NAME in DNS to point to the solarwinds url...

Thank you, that is true. How would I change the following variables in the email template to reflect that?

AlertDetailsUr and DetailsURL is reflected out of the Websites Table, then restart all Services.

UPDATE dbo.Websites SET ServerName=’<ServerName>’ WHERE Type=’primary’

You will not be able to change /Orion to /NMS without a Reverse Proxy. I did a quick look, and you would need to change and reconfigure the web.config and a bunch of web files in order to change /Orion. However, any upgrade would reset the location back to /Orion as those files are always updated with each release.
