Suggestion for backup interenet connectio

I'm looking for some free advice. I work as a network engineer in a very large manufacturing plant. Our Data Center is pretty much in the middle of the plant and cell phone signal is a crapshot at best. We need some kind of internet acces that will give us the ability to still be able to remotely connect to our network devices even if our main internet connection is down. I was thinking maybe a DSL connection. Any other ideas?

Try the below link. It provides out-of-Band Secure Management of your devices, that is if you are looking for remote management of the devices to fix a problem. Otherwise if you are looking for a secondary connection out, then I would add another circuit.

We've used this solution for out-of-band access to our equipment for the past couple of years. It does it's job well. Fortunately we haven't had an internet outage, but we have successfully tested to make sure we can access our equipment in case of an outage.
