Getting WMI Values from another domain

Hi,

 

is it possible to gather WMI Data from computers in another domain than the ipmonitor server?

In the Credentials i entered:

OtherDomainname\Username and the appropriate Password

but it does not work. (If i install ipmonitor on a computer in the same domain it works - (with the same credentials))

Is there a worktrough to get this running or isnt it supportet?

Yes, but a trust must be established between the domain you are connecting to and the domain where the ipMonitor server resides.   Otherwise, the ipMonitor service will not have rights to impersonate a user in the target domain for WMI access.
