CHANGING SNMP VERSION IN MASSES

Is there a way to change (in masses) the SNMP version to use on devices when polling? This does not appear to be an attribute that you can perform any mass editing on. Is there a work-around to this?

ignore the unknown" part-

Disregard the above. With IpMonitor

there is no way to do a Mass Edit because SNMP Version is set to read-only

I would try the following:

1. Backup ipMonitor install

2. Go to “Configuration -> System Settings -> Export Settings”

3. Export Monitors Only

4. Within resulting XML,

search for

<snmpver>2</snmpver>

replace with

<snmpver>1</snmpver>
