Alert on SQL failure

Our Kiwi Syslog instance recently encountered a problem in writing to our SQL instance.  We didn't notice for a few good hours, but the Kiwi error log was repeatedly filling with "DBLogger.ClearQueue aborted with error: Database error executing SQL statement: [MySQL][ODBC 5.1 Driver][mysqld-5.0.45-log]"

In such an event, is it possible to get Kiwi to email out an alarm condition, like it does for disk space warning or message thresholds?

Thanks for the feedback.   I think this is a good idea and we'll look at this for a future release..   For internal folks, I've captured this as #813
