I broke my bobbleheads leg!

Last week I was taking my MVP shoes from the display area and knocked over my MVP Bobblehead!

The bobblehead took it is stride and did not even wince.

A team of doctors prescribed cyanoacrylate (Super Glue).

He made a full recovery! As he strolled into the office the chants of MVP!, MVP! were deafening.

Nice archive of ancient literature! I read all of those. And hated the NLM's required to get anything new added & working.

I down loaded the Novell 3.12 book set text from Novell.com in January of 1994 using a unix shell account with a 14.4k modem. After using ftp to get the 15 of so 1.4Mb files into the shell account, I had to use Procomm xmodem protocol to get them to my local computer. Finally I concatenated all of the files to a single file and unzipped the books. I think they had their own reader executable.

After doing all of that I felt like the king of my own domain.

P.S. Anyone remember using LYNX to surf the web with a shell account?

It also explains why I was thinking 'hey why all this talk about SCP T/Polo Shirts' - shouldn't there be a MVP one.

There is - you get it at the same time as your bobble-head apparently

I came into the office one day to notice my bobblehead had been damaged (something had knocked him over). He was detached at the base (similar to your feet) and his head had a slight dent. A dab of cyanoacrylate and he was back to fighting form. He is actually more like me as apparently I have a tendency to injure myself...
