Autosplit function dose not work fine

My customoer used the Kiwi Syslog Server ver9.2.1(he use right license) and he encountered the Autosplit function did not work fine. He created the new action(Log to file) configured the %IPAdd4 on "Path and file name of log file" field and he could confirm this action fine(IP address folder was createed and log was logeed under this foloder's text file). But, 2 - 3 hours later, he confirmed that the %IPAdd4 folder was created and log is stored under this folder's test file.

I would like to know why this behavior is happened. My customoer's configuration is incorrect? or we should be avoid to use %IPAdd4 with AutoSplit function?

%IPAdd4 auto-split should be fully supported. I’d suggest you open a support ticket – it’s probably something simple that is missing or incorrect in configuration.

I visited my customer's site and I tried to unstall and install the Kiwi Syslog Server. Currently, %IPAdd auto-split function is worked fine. I think that my customer's installation is incorrect.
