Unable to validate credentials for eminentware update services

Ls,

Try to enable this services but returned with this error:

Exception occurred at 24-12-2010 11:11:13: Either the user name, password, or proxy settings are not valid. Error: ServiceUnavailable

User name and password are the same as the credentials i use for authentication on this website.
A temp license was provided by eminentware......

Any ideas?

Oops, RTFM

After setting the proxy configuration on the general setting page and follow the steps in the "Eminentware WSUS Extension Pack Configuration" guide i established the connection.

could someone provide some detail here, I'm having the same problem.

I can get the Dell catalogs, but not the eminentware ones.

Your account had not been previously requested to have access to authenticate the 3rd Party Updates Pack setup, so it did not have access. Customer Support has now granted access to your account, and you should be able to access the EminentWare catalog now.

I too am getting a failed synchronization with the eminentware updates catalogue. It started 26th of Feb. I am with DSHS in Austin, TX. Thanks, Doug Harris
